THE LENS CAP IS ON |
"We elect public officials and pay their salaries
to protect us and make this country thrive. Instead, this group of losers has given us debt, deceit and death. I long for
the return of diplomacy, and hope the next president can walk and talk at the same time."
Janet Contursi
Through out our history America
has had leaders that made powerful statements and speeches that stired the hearts of men and united this great Nation...though
not all have been but we have had some great ones...
To have a President that has a command of the English language...one that
can relate the wishes of his people to the nations of the world without stumbling on his words...more importantly...a President
whose words can be understood and make sense...for me this brings a sense of good old American pride...a sense that the greatness
of this country is real...
Granted thru the years we have had some
embarrassing times...clumsy moments and such but never has
a President butchered the English language as this one has...his motions...his smirks and rolling eyes...hiswords to me are
an insult...
Why you may wonder...I guess because after almost eight years of Bush and his "I am the decider" and
I am this and I am that there is very little left of that good old American pride that once was so great...
If these words were misquotes
or intential that is one thing but they are not...this is Bush's understanding level...most high school students can speak
circles around this man...it is embarrassing and hard to believe that this is the "Leader of the Free World"...

I think we ought to raise the age
at which juveniles can have a gun.
Now, there are some who would like
to rewrite history - revisionist historians is what I like to call them.
Some folks look at me and see a
certain swagger, which in Texas is called "walking."
The legislature's job is to write
law. It's the executive branch's job to interpret law.
Leadership to me means duty, honor,

GW Bush has taken this country
from a once great Nation to the laughing stock of the world...he says that Sadamn was a ruthless cruel dictator...he
should look in the mirror some time....True he doesn't beat or torture us nor does he bomb us with mustard gas...his crimes
come from the inside...
Ever since 911 he has hung
that tradgey over our heads...he has used it to maintain fear among us of another attack(he even sent everyone out to
Wal-Mart for Duct tape)...He has used that fear to ignore the rule of law and create his own in the name of national security...he has trampled all over the Consitution and all over the rights
of every man and women...What the hell does he know of the intentions of our Forefathers when they wrote this or that...hell
bush has a hard time reading and talking...
In my opinion he is the worst
President in the history of this country...Wheither you like it or not...When Clinton left office he had this nation in the
red...we had a surplus...under Clinton we went to war in Bosnia...Kosovow and others...our troops did their jobs and returned
home...were we not sacrificing 4,000 Americans with no end in sight... War was Bush's agenda well before he
took office,if after all the deceit and lies and deals that were exposed if you think differently then I guess your one
of the 14% which is your right but you surely are not helping this country nor its soldiers....
To me it is sad...we impeach a President for haveing sex in the White House then praise a man responsible for the
death of almost four thousand brave Americans and tens of thousands innocent civilians...This is not the country I was raised
to respect and defend...I don't even regonise this nation anymore...God help us all...
